Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital organized a Breast Cancer Awareness session at the State Bank of Pakistan’s Islamabad office, exclusively for their female employees.
This session was part of ANTH’s commitment to enhancing health education within the community and empowering women with the knowledge needed to address their health concerns effectively.
The State Bank’s management welcomed the ANTH team, which was led by Dr Areej Neyazi. They expressed gratitude for conducting such an informative and interactive session.
Dr Maria Tariq, Assistant Professor, Dr Uzma Nayyer, Assistant Professor, and Dr Anamta Rahman, Medical Officer, shared important information regarding Breast Cancer, discussing risk factors, the importance of early detection, and screening practices that can save lives. The discussion also encompassed Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Hormonal Imbalances, educating attendees on how these conditions can impact women’s health and wellness.
