GAK HealthCare International’s constituent institution Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital marked World Pharmacist Day 2025 under the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist” to honor the vital role of pharmacists in patient care and healthcare delivery. The event was graced by Group CEO Yasir Khan Niazi, Director Hospital Dr. Areej Neyazi, and also attended by Maj. Gen. (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam (VC CUI proposed), Col. (R) Ghulam Mujtaba Abbasi (Registrar CUI), Prof. Dr. Khalid Hasan (Advisor to the Chairman GAK HealthCare), Dr. Khurshid Ahmad (Executive Director GAK), along with other senior management personnel.
The celebration featured interesting yet informative skits and presentations, highlighting the dedication, knowledge, and compassion of pharmacists who ensure the safe use of medicines, guide patients responsibly, and contribute to building healthier communities every day.
The event, organized by the ANTH Pharmacy Department led by Muhammad Bilal Anwar, was applauded by the senior management as an encouragement for their commitment and emphasized their pivotal role in advancing healthcare.
